1976 Rhodes 19 Centerboard Sailboat Located in ME

$5,500.00

Owner/seller writes, "This boat, believed to be a 1976 model, has been refurbished by the owner with some help from Stuart Marine.

Stuart rebuilt the centerboard trunk; and installed new internal timbers along with a new centerboard trunk cap and winch system.  The centerboard was refurbished by Stuart Marine before being reinstalled.

The owner/seller has added new standing rigging and is presently repairing and refinishing all the varnished bright work including the floorboards and cockpit coamings.

A new rudder blade has been added.

The seller has repainted the hull sides and bottom. He has gone over the whole boat and repaired or replaced anything that needed attention.

The boat comes with main and jib sails—both in good working shape; the mast & boom; the running rigging; the new standing rigging; and a rudder & tiller.

The seller can provide most equipment the buyer needs for sailing including life jackets, anchor, boat hook, bilge pump, boom crutch, etc.

The buyer can also choose between a mainsail cover or a boom tent.

A used trailer comes with the boat, though the seller would be happy to keep the trailer and lower the price. This trailer has new bunks; a new winch strap; and the bearings have been recently repacked.

No motor comes with the boat.

The seller is a boating enthusiast who enjoys fixing up classic sailboats. He is motivated to sell this boat in order to start another restoration project.

The asking price of $5500 represents most of the owner/seller's costs for the restoration of this boat.

This 1976 Rhodes 19 Centerboard sailboat will make someone a very nice boat for many years to come."
