  • Wood tiller and floorboards, 4-stroke in excellent shape.

  • It handles beautifully.

  • It has sailed only on Long Island Sound for 40 years as a weekend sailboat, and been very solid.

dollar boat.jpeg

I have a 1970 O’Day Rhodes 19 centerboard sailboat that I will give to someone who is interested in restoring this classic boat. Includes mast, boom, tiller, main and jib sails and hinge plate for the mast that has not been installed. The boom was replaced in the early 80’s.  Oak floor timbers replaced by Stuart Marine in 1999 but will need to be redone soon. Centerboard pin replaced by Stuart Marine in 1999. Some floorboards need to be replaced and the rest need to be refinished. Needs fresh paint all around.

Does not include 1976 EZ Loader trailer that is available for sale.

Boat is located on Willsboro Point, Willsboro, NY.

SOLD - 1967 Mariner Keel Sailboat

boat for a buck.JPG

Seller writes - I own a 1967 O'Day Mariner, and have bought parts from SMC over the years.   She has been a great family boat, but we are ready to retire her.   She is in decent shape. We replaced the cross-beams a few years ago and bought a new halyard last year. But everything else seems like it is going to need replacement soon and I am ready to move on to a larger boat.   The mainsail has a minor tear; hull is solid but needs some TLC with one minor puncture above the waterline; all teak is old and weathered; and the mast and boom probably need to be replaced soon.

She is on a mooring in Casco Bay. The motor is not included. The trailer is stored on Cushings Island and is rusted and not highway-worthy; but works and is available.  I am happy to move this boat along to anyone interested in her,

SOLD - O’day 22 SAILBOAT

Just wanted to send you a couple of pics of the O'Day 22 you passed on to me last Fall. I spent a lot of hours working on it and put it into water 2nd week of July. It's the perfect size boat for me, we really enjoyed it. Kept it at the slips at Schooner Landing in Damariscotta. We pulled it out the week after Pumpkin Fest. Planning to get it in the water late May next season and get a good long season with it. Thank you so much for your generosity. I doubt you could have given it to anyone else who would have appreciated it any more than me. It has a good home and I plan to enjoy it for many years to come. You deserve some good karma for this good deed. Many thanks, Dan U.
